New from California (Z06 just purchased)
Hi everyone. New guy here from California. Not currently a vette owner, but plan on being one here in the very near future. Currently looking for a 02-04 Z06. Have found a few that are single owners, so hopefully I can make the purchase and have a Z06 sitting in my garage soon. I currently drive an 08 Subaru WRX, which I plan on keeping since it gives me something fun to drive while hauling the kids around. I looking forward to learning more about vettes.

welcome, i am an ex evo owner looking for a c5 Z also. there are more than a few on autotrader with 25k or less miles. some of them are dreaming with 20% over kbb pricing, lol. they go in the low 20s with very few miles in the auction.

Yeah I've found a few on autotrader, but not sure if some are scams or people don't update. I emailed a few private sellers and have yet to hear anything. Dealers respond right away, but are overpriced.

yea, I have run into some from lalaland. we are soon pick up a 455hp 2016 Camaro for low 30s and some guys are asking for the same for a 14 year old 20k miles z06. and they always say, well, I don't really have to sell it. yeeeeeaaaaa, I am going to pay 30% over blue book price just because you really don't want to sell your car. seriously.....

Well I finally found the right Z06 and brought it home yesterday. Found a nice 70 year old man selling it down in San Diego (I'm in the SF Bay area). Luckily I have a friend down that way who was able to check everything out for me so I wouldn't waste a flight. Anyways, everything checked out and car drives wonderfully. It's a 2002 with now 32,000 miles. Couldn't complain getting to spend 7 hours in the car to get use to her.
