Hi, All;
Hopefully I'll be a new Z06 owner very soon. Like tomorrow. I'm a retired aerospace software manager who's dinked around with cars just about my entire life. Prior to my degree, I worked as a Chrysler tech for 8 years in the very early 70's. Fun times with Hemi 'Cudas, Roadrunners, GTXs, etc.
Have rebuilt an '80 Vette. Probably around 1997 or so I wrote a "how to rebuild your suspension tech note for Corvette Forum (still have the t-shirt!), but I think it's probably been deleted or OBE'd by now.
Also, did I violate some type of protocol here? I registered this AM before church cuz I wanted to post some "about to buy" questions. I've since created a profile, avatar, and this msg. 57 folks have looked at my post, but zero replies. Is this just something that should be obvious to me or ??? If I did something wrong, my sincerest apologies. Please educate me so I can benefit from this group!

Thanks, folks; good to be back after about a 13 yr absence!
Still no Vette; looking every day, but no luck yet.
Bill, I like your plane! Sold mine, built an experimental; sold that this June. Proceeds going to the new-to-me Vette.
