Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2. How do you prove to the inspection station that your brand new tires on your brand new 2015 Z06 shouldn't be rejected because there is no tread (grouve) on the outside of tire? Shop was a michelin tire dealer too. Go figure.

The inspection station was a local tire shop I will refrain from naming. Rather than argue about the brand new tires, I went down the street to another inspection station and got a sticker no problem. I emailed Michelin about the rejection and they actually contacted the tire shop and the shop told Michelin that I would have to get a waiver letter from the Mass Registry of Motor Vehicles holding the tire shop harmless from approving the tires and that was the message that was relayed to me. I would have expected a company like Michelin to show a little backbone and directly address the problem with their brand new tires. Not. Absolutely and categorically ridiculous.
