Welcome to the club and congrats on getting a Vette.
Winters can be long here in NEO. Should you find some dry days (I did my first winter), just remember the tires don't stick to anything below about 40%. You can take it out but be very gentle with the throttle especially on upshifts.
My wife generally thinks I'm crazy too but today, riding through Cleveland's Metro Parks with the roof off I redeemed myself.
