Ex Mustang Guy.
Hello all. I just purchased a 07 Z51 Vette last week with 35,000 miles. My old Mustang GT350 Convertible burned up due to a electrical fire under the hood that started in the wiring harness. I found out afterwards this is common with Mustangs. I always wanted a Vette and decided to go back to having all General Motors products for my small collection.

No Contest.
My Stang was an original low mileage 84 GT 350 Convertible 20th anniversary. In 84 the power it had was pathetic. 175 HP, 240 FT/LB of torque. Never tried to run up against a Vette unless it was a 1975 model at 150 HP. Back then even Corvettes were not that powerful. But yeah, I've already run across some Mustangs wanting to race. Had one rev his engine up at a light. I looked at him, reved my engine and purposely took off slow. I won't do something stupid on busy city streets in the middle of the day.
