Hi, after some time visiting and reading only I have decided to register myself to this great forum.
No corvette yet, but actively looking for C3 CE, hopefully I"ll find one during the next months.
Corto/Zdravko
Thanks to all of you!
It seems I have bought my first corvette today..... Yesterday I checked one C3 MY1980 here locally, and as she was not in so great shape I was not too optimistic becouse of the price. Today the guy called me and significantly dropped the price ....
Is it the way how this forum works!? Once you register and if you do not have corvette already, it will not take long and you will have one for sure...
Thanks guys,
Last two days were quite turbulent.....
Yesterday I have thought I finally have one. Although not what I was really looking for (C3 CE) but still I was happy, it was a good basis for restoration. I agreed with the seller (old decent gentleman) over the phone and was planning to pick she up tomorrow. During the car check, I also took some pics of the cars's docs, and today I was looking what I have bought and discovered that the car is not his private car, but rather the car is on some company. I called the guy and he said it is his company and it is not a problem, in the contract there will be his company as the seller. But I was not quite sure about that and was digging further (thanks Google!!!) and discovered that his company is in bankruptcy since a year, and actually the guy is not allowed to sell it by himself.
I am happy that I have discover that, but also I am sad as I already started to make the plans what I am going to do first, already talked to the mechanic who would do the most of the restoration.
So, I am on the road again, ...... let's find some nice CE
I got in contact with trustee but I was not thinking there will be something out of it. In a mean time I was looking for CE in USA and almost went over there but few interesting CEs were either scams or were sold.
Recently the trustee called me and after several weeks of talks, checking ownership of the car with administration, price discussions,.., yesterday I finally bought her, and she is now in my garage.
Now I need to check what is really there. Previous owner didn't take too much care about her, so there will be a lot of work.
Thanks to all of you!

SWEET, so if I quit the forum today, and rejoin tomorrow, I should be getting another Vette around Monday or Tuesday!
