I've been lurking around on this forum for about a year now as I was really interested in getting into a C4. I've been really into BMW's for the last few years and am pretty active on the BMW forums. I have a 328i that is pretty modded out
and a recently acquired M3 that I'm in the process of sorting out.
Picking the M3 up squashed the plans for getting into a C4. My father is looking at C5Z's right now and I must say I'm getting pretty interested too.
So that's all, just wanted to say hi and hopefully (maybe) the next post or thread will actually have a Corvette in it.
Welcome to the forum. I previously owned a BMW 335i with BMS chip and M front bumper. Very nice car and a lot of fun.
I now have a C5 Z06. Two completely different animals. The BMW was a sporty coupe and the Z is a flat out sports car, no two ways about it. I would suggest if coming from a BMW that you forgo the C4 and at least go for a C5.

Nice cars! Yeah I think I'm over a C4 for now, but still love them so maybe eventually.

My father just sold his 55 Chevy so he is officially looking for a C5Z so at least one of else will have one (although I wish it were me!)
I know no one likes looking at a thread with no pics, especially Corvettes, but here are a couple of the 55, best I can do right now
Thank you! I'm happy to report that my Father bought a C5Z this weekend. It's a Torch Red 03 with 9,600 miles, second owner. He is picking the car up today so hopefully he can send me some pictures. I will try and get him to join the forum too.
