Hey Everyone! I'm 19 years old, I am a Aerospace Radiographer, and I just bought my dream car. I had a 2012 v6 Camaro that my dad helped me buy but I ended up letting him keep it after I paid it off and bought myself my baby, a 2005 c6 Corvette with the ls2. I am trying to make it push 500HP. if you have any ideas what might help please let me know. I don't want to turbo, supercharge, or use any NOS.
I would recommend driving the car for a while until you are really comfortable with how it performs. Where its thresholds are, etc. This gives you a few benefits.
One, you can decide where you really need to put your money. You can correct / detect problems. And have time plan performance mods. (For example, perhaps you would prefer to upgrade suspension components.) Or you decide that you don't like the sound. Or whatever.
And secondly, you can get used to driving the car before you take it out of its design envelope. Nothing would suck worse than smashing up your new baby, particularly after spending a ton of time and money planning it.
