I just purchased a 2016 Corvette with the Z51 package.
For the past five years I was out of the Corvette fraternity while my performance ride was a 2011 CTS-V, an awesome ride with which I set the national quarter mile record for a second gen factory stock CTS-V on stock tires (11.720 @ 120.78 MPH). Prior to my CTS-V ownership I owned and drag raced six Corvettes all bought new, the first of which was a 1972 Convertible.
After a proper break in procedure, I plan on taking my new Corvette to the drags with hopes of a sub 11.72 run.
It's good to be back in the Corvette fraternity!
