Default Bought it yesterday

Drove home a new 2016. With an unexpected bonus at work, I figured now is the time to get the car I'd been wanting. Had a Mustang for many years, but in the back of my mind was always "It's nice, but it isn't a Corvette."
As a plus, the one on the lot that best matched my specs also has the removable roof panel. That is a seriously fun ride! The family absolutely loves it (the little one wanted to spend the night in it!). My wife decided after one drive that it is the coolest car ever.
So... Base Corvette, LT2 in metallic red. I can't wait to take it out for a long ride this weekend.

And I have to mention how grateful I am for this forum. It made researching the options, dealers, prices, etc so much easier. In part because of the forum, this was one of the simplest car purchases I have ever made.

Next up... finding a track to take a performance driving class to learn how to really drive this beast.
