Long time loyal f-body owner finally stepped up to a Vette. Picked up my Laguna Blue Z51 M7 2LT yesterday. Working my way through learning all the features and modes. Not too bad. Had to chuckle at the cooling rings that go on the front rotors for track use (why don't they mod the rotors to permanently route the airflow through the rotor vanes?). Also had to chuckle at the little plastic funnel needed to add gas fron a gas can when you are OOG. That is not going to happen. Anyway, 20 miles and so far so good. :-) And when I sell my 1994 Z28 I will be f-bodyless for the first time in, well, a looooonnngg time.
Thanks, guys! Loving it so far. The Vette handles with so much neutrality and so little body roll it is amazing. I had thought the Camaro wasn't bad, but... Once the Vette is broken in I am going to have to turn off the traction control and stabilitrak and try to get the tail out a little. :-)
