C7 performance exhaust

C7 performance exhaust
I researched and ordered exactly what I wanted on a 2016 C7. The order print out had the performance exhaust on it but when the dealer placed the order with GM they didn't include the NPP. My car was at the Museum 2,200 miles away when I found out about his mistake so the dealer said that they would install the system after I got it home. Five months later I am told that General Motors WILL NOT provide the software for the installation. Does anyone know how my dealer can get this software. Looking back I should have canceled this one and let the dealer deal with their mistake. The dealer will do the right thing and install the NPP if they can get the software from GM. Help

Thanks for the reply. This is number 8 for me and at my age may be the last so I ordered what I wanted for my last. Mine is the LT3 because I wanted the brownstone interior. I wanted the Z51 appearance but because of the Museum delivery I couldn't get the package and had to order each option separately. The exhaust was on my order. Looking back I should have gotten the Z51 but I had that on my last Corvette and for my driving the suspension was just too tight for me. I did get the microfiber seat inserts and would never get leather again. They are great. I guess my situation with the dealer may just wind up in the legal process.
