Done with fbodies, new to the corvette world.
I mainly lurk here, but figured I'd introduce myself and my car. Coming from a turbo Trans Am, the C5 I bought was definitely the right choice. I bought it from a friend that I've known since the car was bone stock. So far we've been battling the trans tune to get it to shift on time with the current setup. After reading several threads of the same issue...well, it's just gonna have to be taken apart again. Either a new rear tire setup, new rear diff ratio, trans refresh...we'll see.
Current mods from previous owner/close friend:
FLT lvl 4 4l60e with Yank 3600 stall,
3.90 rear diff
275/40/17 Et street on c5 deep dish rears
ZR1 sway bar
Advanced Inductions Ported/Milled 241 heads
AI mild cam
Fast 92 Intake
Ported LS2 throttle body using X-link
Kooks 1 7/8 egr headers and catted x pipe
Borla stinger Axlebacks
I had to part out/sell everything racecar related that I had in order to buy this car, but I'm much happier since I got rid of the headache. Dumping money into a car I couldn't enjoy was aggravating. I have plans for this car, but street manners is priority this time around.
...and here's a video of a c5 vert with a blower catching me off guard.

Nice car,
But that's funny because I'm just about done with Vettes. Owned 2 C4's and currently own 2 C3's. Tired of working on the C3's. Its endless...but I enjoy working on any fbody, so much easier to work with. I enjoy them just as much if not more.

In some ways it's easier, but maybe I just tell myself that so I quit making the same mistakes with them. lol I went through several phases with mine and started getting jealous of my friends with C5's.

Thank y'all. Currently deciding whether or not to buy some used ccw's or new Forgestar F14's.
Just bought a Vararam with Powerduct to replace my K&N hot air intake. Baby steps..
