Hello all from NZ. Wiper wiring?
Greetings everybody from down under.
May I say what a great place this is. Amazing source of expertise and sharing of knowledge.
My first v8 purchased is this 1981 C3 which had a diff leak and a few electrical items not working. First job was removing the rear bits and replaced pinion seal. Whilst there I sandblasted/buffed and painted all components, replaced rear shocks and all bushings.
Then removed/replaced steering column to solve the horn grounding fault.
Now my wipers won't work...have done research on the forum and indicators are I have a grounding issue here.
Presently removing the speedo cluster to access the wiper switch wiring.
Have seen reference to jumping a yellow to brown wire to bypass the wiper controller as a test but no idea where to do this.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Cheers Richard
