Need Tech help with my 1st Vette
Hello Everyone,
Just finally purchased my 1st Corvette. Ive been waiting my whole life and finally have a Corvette. Its a 85 , 75,00 miles. Engine and Trans were not installed, because previous owner pulled them to refresh. I will refresh and install at a later date. It appears the engine is correct.
I'm going to install another long block 350 that I've already completed. It has vortec heads, eagle Crank, etc.. I am in Pennsylvania and looking at registering it Classic or Collector car.
How do i check matching numbers?
What manifold will match the vortec heads and fit my existing 85 tpi setup?
Whats the best method to install the trans and engine? Separately, together, on jack stands, lift etc...
Do I need any emissions, smog etc since Pennsylvania does not sniff test classic or Collector cars.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I've posted my engine specs in the C4 Tech & Performance section. I'm still looking for suggestions on setting up a Vortec Manifold with TPI on top. Probably going with the Scoggin Dickey set up. Would like suggestions on how to set up 700R4 for my engine. Going to have my old 700 rebuilt.
