I don't even have my Vette yet but I've made a deal on a 2013 GS 60th anniversary edition. I've loved Vettes since we had two early port fuel injected C4 test cars at work back in the eighties. I turn 60 next month and my brother and I will fly out to Phoenix and take a week driving it home via New Orleans.
I've got a couple of questions but I'll post them in the appropriate C6 sections.
Couldn't find a better place for stupid questions and didn't find the answers doing a little searching so let me ask here:
Just how much luggage can you easily fit in a C6 GS? I'm coming from an '03 350Z so I know the C6 has more room than that and doesn't have the PITA cross bar between the shocks. I'm assuming soft duffels are best. Any tips on stashing a 6 pack cooler (or larger?) for a few sodas? There are going to be two of us road tripping for a week and since we are flying out I don't want to end up leaving my brothers gear on the curb!
Second, how many 12v power ports are there? I plan on taking a Garmin GPS, and a Valentine radar detector plus I'm sure we will want at least one cell phone charging at times. Yes, the C6 has NAV but you have to change DVD's to get across the country, can't input destination on the fly, etc., the Garmin is just so much better. At some point the V1 will be hard wired in but I don't see doing that on the road. TIA
edit:
OK, I found cargo volumes and looks like that won't be an issue within reason. The C6 has about 3 times the rear cargo volume of my 350Z (~22 vs 7 cu ft).

Reason: Found some of the info I'm looking for
OK, another question. Since my car has NAV, it has the USB port in the center console. There is some info in the NAV manual about file formats and folders:
USB Supported File and Folder Structure
The guidelines that must be met while using USB supported files and folders are:
. Up to 699 folders.
. Up to eight folders in depth.
. Up to 65,535 files.
. Folder and file names up to 64 bytes.
. Files with an .mp3, .wma, or .m4a file extension.
. AAC files stored on an iPod.
. FAT16.
. FAT32.
However, I don't see anything about limits on Flash drive size. I know many players won't work with anything over a certain size. I'd like to get a 64 or 128 GB drive but will it work? 128 GB may be overkill with the 699 folder limit.
