Default Delivery Delays

My name is Bob Neumann & I've had several 'vettes over the past 30 years, starting with an 85. I currently drive a 2012 Cyber Gray & ordered a 2016 Shark Gray on October 17th. As of today, it still doesn't have a "TPW" and the dealer isn't / hasn't been real helpful.

Are any others having delivery problems with the 2016's ???

I am sorry to hear this, Bob.

I understand the suspense must be building and recognize your frustrations regarding this situation. If you would like, we would be happy to look into your order status on our end. Please feel free to send us a private message containing your order number if this is of interest to you.

Kindly,

This doesn't bode well for me. Placed an order for a Z06 two weeks ago. We were told by the dealer that Chevy didn't accepted the order today due to a lack of availability on the Carbon Fiber Ground Effects package we optioned. And that it "may be available" when they try to order again in two weeks or we could have the choice to go with painted. We are in the unimpressed and about to cancel mode already and now I read you have had one on order since October with no build code? We were promised a max of 8 weeks after order acceptance. Are order entry/production problems the norm?

My Dealer originally told me 8-12 weeks, which I was OK with. I got the original order # after 3 weeks, and then several weeks later was told the order was "constricted" (the Z51 performance packages were on back order), & removed me from the "order accepted" list. In mid January I was back on the "order accepted" list, but after checking weekly for the next 3 weeks, I was advised that the original order was cancelled & a new Order was placed / gave me a new #. Have been checking it for the past 3 + weeks & still no "TPW" assigned.

Good Luck with yours.......

Default Finally !!!!

I finally picked up my C-7 from the dealer on April 16th, 2016.

Remember I ordered it on October 17th, 2015

1 day short of 6 months........

Ordered a set of Dub Rims (through Carid who was no help), specifically confirmed for this car. We test mounted them as Dub required before switching the tires over & surprise, when installed, the fronts clipped the valve stems & the rears rubbed the calipers.

To correct the problems, we had to remove (2) small (high speed) plastic brake air dams off the fronts & then have 3MM custom made concentric hub spacers for the rears.

Also, they don't put the valve stems through the front of the rim. Rather close to the inside back. The only way you can air the tires is to have a spotter position the front rims toward the front & the rear rims towards the rear & you can lay on the ground & just reach the valve to air up, or go to a a repair shop & put the car on a rack.

The above is for anybody's info in case you want this type of rim so you know what you're getting into. It has also been sent to Dub to advise them of the problems incountered + the approx. $350. in additional costs incurred.

Once installed / fixed, they're awesome (per the attached pic's) !!
