I will soon be in the market for another corvette . I had 2 toys in the past 10 years ; a 2005 Mustang and a 2001 corvette and loved it . Had to sell it because I got 3 excessive speeding tickets in one year with the c5 .
I am now in the market for a c6 ( love the changes in this car ) . Loking for some opinions, advice etc. Do I buy a manual or automatic ? Due to the drastic changes from the c4 and c5's are there any major issues with the C6's ..I think I would be looking to get into a 2005 or 2006 .
Any information you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated in making my decision .

Welcome,
I just, recently ended my search for a C6, while I can't speak to any issues to look for I can tell you this car is a blast. Personally I was done with shifting manually, my 2007 did come with paddle shifters and are a blast to use, something different for sure, and no clutching. I was able to find a 2007 with 36k miles for $23,500, car is imaculate and still retains the new car smell. Get the newest model you can afford and enjoy the ride.
Good luck.
