Hi I just registered on the forum. I own a 1990 L98 coupe, I bought it new in December '89. It was driven regularly until about 2005, and then sat in the driveway untouched all these years. Circumstances have changed and this vette is being brought back to life after many years. It has about 145,000 miles and is completely stock with the exception of one of those throttle body airfoils and a k&n air filter from years ago. To get it running it has a new fuel/pump tank sending unit, reman ecm (the original went bad), dropped in a set of Delphi fuel injectors from FIC, changed oil and filter, new gas, flushed and refilled the cooling system, new battery. Fired up and idles smooth. Revs great. The tires were the gatorbacks 275s front and rear which off course had rotted off the wheels over the years. The car has the 6 way powered sport seats, FX3 suspension, ZF 6 speed, J55 brakes, Bose Gold system. Right now the car has some loaner tires, just came out of the paint booth a couple days ago, is awaiting new glass and weather stripping. Can't wait to get her back on the road.
