Hello all...
I'm Dub McBride and the last Corvette I owned I was 26 years old.. It was a 69 coupe 350... 350 hp.. 4 spd.... I am 66 years old now and have never been able to put that car out of mind.. Today with a understanding wife and after months of shopping, saturday I purchased a 05 coupe.. Velosity yellow and light tan interior I can't remember the official name of the interior color.. 4spd auto with 38000 miles.. Man it feels good to get excited about something, ANYTHING again.. It's been 40 years and the feeling driving it is awesome. True I don't get in and out as gracefully as I did 40 years ago but I do ok for for my years and miles.. I hope to learn from you Vette owners young and old as these cars have changed a lot since 1969... You folks have a great forum here and I appreciate the opportunity to take part..
Regards..

Welcome to the forum Dub, from another 66 year former corvette owner. I was 19 and had a 66 vert that I sold after getting married. I bought my 95 four years ago as a retirement present and have been enjoying it ever since. Hope you do the same.
