Hello All, I recently purchased a 1987 bone stock C4 Corvette coupe color bright red. 1 Owner 59k and unmolested. It sat in a garage/barn thing since 2010 with a thick coat of dust and dirt on her paint. I changed the oil gave her a good lube up and tune up. New Battery and a nice new set of Eagles($$$$$ouch$$$$$) a good bath well bathes and couple coats of mothers wax and hit the key. She started right up runs/drives and looks just like I dreamed she would. She does have a few gremlins as you can imagine from sitting for 5 years but nothing this old gear head can't remedy with some elbow grease and the green stuff of course. I have always wanted a Vette since I first remember seeing our then neighbor who was a cop in his old red split window...Love at first sight and sound. I think I was 7-8 years old. I went on to have a love of Chevrolet's that were in my budget. Growing up in the 80s there was an abundance of 60s- 70s Z28s, Chevelles, Elcos ect ect.. But my first car was a 70 Monte Carlo and my Dad and I made it fast. Many other old Chevrolet's followed and with them I learned how to make them fast and do all repairs myself...Ahhh a simpler time cars were easy to hot rod. Now to today. Married 25 years kids grown. Grand kids being born. Time does fly. So one day just looking on the interweb I begin to notice C4s are very affordable scratching my head I start looking into why its still a Vette? Ah of course the C5 and LT1 yes. So whatever I'm in the market and I know how to make a Chevy fast no matter what it is and after all an L98 is still a 350. So I steal this car. (Ad least I think I do at 5k) As I research these cars the mods for power are almost endless with the CA$H to invest and I can make this machine command the respect it deserves. So my journey has begun. I am glad you fellow Vette lovers will take it with me.
