I already asked a few questions on the C3 tech forum that I didn't see covered; I'm thoroughly impressed by the amount of "local" knowledge abound. Happy to join!
Here's my car (the lady is in it). 1968 L48 everything (from what I can tell), L88 hood for some reason, and an 1969 350/350 engine:
Projects:
-Figure out why the car vents smells like manure (probably heater core stuff)
-Fix loose steering (either tighten things up or rebuild the steering box)
-Install new tilt steering wheel from ididit
-General maintenance
-Figure out "dead zone" on the brakes. They have like 1"-1.5" of play.
I got the car from a guy who needed to sell quickly because of a divorce. He casually mentioned the fair (in my mind) price tag and I jumped on it. I have never EVER considered a Corvette before this and when spring warms up a bit I feel like I won't be turning away for a while.
