New To Site With Broken Vette!
I just purchased a 2009 z06 with 21K miles about this time last year. I was cruising on the interstate a few weeks ago when I heard a fluttering noise and the car just quit. Yep!! you guessed it...Dropped valve, cracked block and a damaged head, plus a broken piston. So im just trying to weigh my options.
Option 1: A local performance shop is saying he can get me a good build for about $13,000. This would include new bare block, new rotating assembly, new PRC heads, custom cam, all gaskets seals and fluids, and labor.... Is this a good price?
Options 2: Just sell it broken. What do you guys think I could sell it for
Option 3. Get a new core block, replace the broken piston and rod and fix it back stock.
What do you guys think????
