Hello all. Just joined the forum. I am located in south GA and am hoping to join the vet community very soon.

I am looking to buy a Used 09-10 C6 this year (No telling how many posts start off like this here haha). I have family that is a sells manager here locally and says he can get me one for my price range.

I am completely new to the vet community. We do own a XLR so im already family right?? Well here is my reason for the post.

What are the main issues with these cars? What am I looking for in a 40k or so miles vet? Signs to look for to make sure one is not hot rodded(My very largest concern when buying a used sports car)? Are these things reliable?

I was about to order a new BRZ, but I passed a corvette the other day and said to myself "I wonder just how much those are going for now"

I drove a 2013 BRZ for about 2 months and changed to a 2004 C5 Corvette for about 2 months and then upgraded to a 2014 C7.

The BRZ handled great but the lack of power was unbearable for me.

The handling on that car almost makes me want to deal with the 20 farret power it produces
