Hi all from Sunny San Diego,
I am a life member over on the Chevelle forum, as I am the owner of a '67 SS 396 L34 with the original engine. We love the car and drive it every weekend, but I'm always drawn back to the C2 Corvettes. We had a '64 growing up and I got to drive it a couple of times before going off to the Navy and was hooked from that point on. I'm looking to acquire a '67 in the near future hopefully, most likely an L79, as the 427s are a bit out of my price range. I was hoping to find a thread on what to look for when inspecting a C2, but all I could find was C3 and newer advice. If anyone is aware of an older thread with this info, I would greatly appreciate it before posting a new thread on the topic. Also, if there are any good electronic references (I have a great one for my Chevelle), please let me know. Thanks and look forward to enjoying this site (and hopefully a new 'Vette) for many years to come!
