Thank you for allowing me to join the forum I've been waiting to join since I was a kid (even though this wasn't even around then)! When I was in High School the C5 Z06 came out and I immediately fell in love, telling myself that one day I'll own one. Fast forward twelve years; an amazing Z06 came available at the right place and right time so I snatched it up without hesitation.
This is my first Corvette I've ever owned and happy to say the first one is my dream one (so no remorse later on). It's a 2003 50th Anniversary Millennium Yellow Z06 with 50k miles in absolutely immaculate condition. I look forward to chatting with you all and hopefully meeting some in the neighborhood!!
Welcome to the Forum. Nice looking C5. There are a lot of good people on here with lot's of knowledge. I am in Mead, so not to far away. Welcome
Awesome! Do you happen to belong to any of the Corvette Clubs in the area? I've heard of Cruizn Corvettes and Spokane Corvette Club but would like some incite before joining.

I am a member of Spokane Corvette Club. We meet at Prospectors on the North side the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Come early around 6:00 park and eat. See what it is all about. Welcome
Hope you are enjoying your new vette. I'm in Spokane too, in the Eagle Ridge area off the Pullman Highway.
If you haven't found it already there is a PNW area on the forum too. If you just go up to "Forums" at the top of the page click and scroll down and click on "upcoming events and regional discussions you will find it.
Gives you an idea of what's going on more locally but not everything.
On the SCC site if you click on events they have a calendar with some of the shows some may be going too. The Glass on Grass info is up now too.
Good luck with your car, and enjoy. Just don't push it to hard till you find out how the rear end has a mind of it's own when you put the pedal down...especially getting on wet freeways.
Ohh and they did away with the "pledge" they just cut your finger now.
Hi to Ninjaman too, see he posted on the PNW forum awhile back.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
