Hey guys, I just recently acquired a black on black 1979 L82 manual, and I'm planning and looking forward to doing a lot with it. I'm also looking forward to utilizing the wealth of knowledge available here to do so. Just wanted to stop in and say hi before proceeding on to the C3 section, where I will probably spend most of my forum time hanging out.

Figured I should add a picture of my new baby before I continue. This is her when I picked her up. She wasn't running yet at the time, but after a battery swap, a touch up to the brushes on the alternator, oil change, transmission gear oil change, a coolant flush/fill, belt replacements, air filter swap, and some air in the tires, shes running beautifully.
