Vettedreams from Seattle!
Hi all- I'm a hopeful GS owner, order is in now waiting for dealer allocation!
Before finding and coming to this forum I hung around another forum which seemed overly conservative and occupied with warranty police who frawned upon anyone who hinted making modifications to the all mighty General's creation! When I opened threads about mods, I found instructions about how to add stickers! There was more talk about colors and their variations than anything technical related. I thought engaging in arguments over colors was for girls...there's only one color for C7, black!
Anyways, vent mode off, I found this forum to be more open to discussions with various opinions. Everyone has an opinion, and that's a good thing and what makes the world go around.
By no means do I consider myself a Corvette enthusiast, I'm a performance enthusiast and have no brand loyalty of any sorts! I've owned as many brands as I have walked away from, as I'm sure many here do too. I am drawn to pure performance, nothing else.
My interests are track oriented, and after test driving a Z51, and riding as a passenger in a Z06 at our local track, I was sold.
I like modifications, to suite my style of driving and I hope to learn a lot from the folks here, and may be contribute something in return when the time comes.
I spent the last two weeks reading through many of the posts, and most importantly the questions answered by Tadge. Although I am a bit surprised to see how many here who frequently post in this forum have not taken the time to read Tadge's answer and argue over things that have clearly been answered and came from the horse's mouth so to speak.
Anyways I hope I'm not too much of an outsider as more people like myself are being drawn and attracted to the new C7...it's a new world now, and you all just have to put up with us!

Welcome Kamran, this is indeed a great forum, lot of friendly and knowledgeable guys here that will lend you a hand with any question you might have. Hope your vette gets delivered soon, have fun n post some pics when you get her.
