Got a C4
Hello, I just drug home a 1985 C4, It has been setting in the yard across my back fence for the last 16 years ! The house was foreclosed and sold at auction and I bought it from the new owner. It had 4 flat tires and had sunk into the dirt, it took me the whole day just to get jacked up so I could find some tires that would hold some air. Finally got it home and began cleaning it up and working to get some keys made. My experience has been in restoring old Jeeps, I have a 47 and 50, so this will be a challenge with all the electronic stuff.
I will need some advice on the procedure to try to get the this thing started but maybe I can find that in a previous post. Thanks for listening Dick

Any issues with getting a title? I wouldn't devote a whole lot of time and money until I was certain it was mine.
Good luck with the restore.

Keys
I appreciate the welcome, got a set of keys made so finally got it out of Park, bought a pair of old tires so now it is officially a "roller". Got it in the garage as it has been really hot here the last few weeks, so now I have some shade. We had to take the door apart to get to the door cylinder to make the key, now I have to reassemble and my hands are a little to big, plus those little plastic clips that hold the rods in the slots were brittle and broke, but I think I found some at the Cad dealer who a thunk. Ah the process starts.
