Same as others: first time, long time.
Hello, all. First of all, as the handle implies, I'm a huge fan of Doberman Pinschers and the Tennessee Vols.
After initially thinking we wanted to order a 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro (we drove a 2SS and loved the engine), my wife and I later were cross-shopping it against an M4, when we realized (duh) that we could have a Vette for the same money, if we were willing to spend for an M4. Since this won't be a daily driver for us, it's a no brainer.
We'll both be 50 next year, so the plan is for us to share the car as a birthday present. The plan is to order it early next year so we can take delivery closer to our birthday (assuming we can hold out that long!).
Anyone else sharing their baby (car) with their other baby (spouse)? My wife's a driver, so we're getting a manual, and we've agreed on options, so no problems there, but how about the "sharing" thing? How has it worked out for you folks that do it?
I look forward to conversing with all you fine folks over the next 8 months or so as we research and finalize our ordering decisions.
