I'm a first time Vette owner in the Omaha, NE area. I just purchased a 2013 C6 60th Anniversary.
Specs:
- Color: Night Race Blue Metallic, one issue of crazing on the Rt rear corner
- Trim: 2LT base model w/HUD, Bose stereo w/navigation
- Engine: LS3 engine, 45,000 miles.
- Tires: New Michelin Pilot Sport tires A/S 3
It seems like a great car and after its initial inspection at a local dealership it got a clean bill of health. No codes and I had all the major fluids replaced (Diff, oil, fuel system cleaning, etc).
I'd love to hear your inputs and recommendations on things with watch for and am seeking advise on changing out the stereo system/speakers.
plug your C6 into a battery tender when you are not going to be driving it for more than a week. Your battery will last longer.
I use a Shoemaker Tender from Advance Auto. Money well spent
Thanks, I'll look into that. I have a battery charger that I periodically put on the camper battery during the winter months. Is this the same thing or different than a "Tender?" I haven't heard that term before.
