Default Red C5 in the garage!

Hello all,

I would like to introduce myself to the forum, my name is Michael. I bought a red 1999 T-top with 43k miles a couple of days ago, can't wait to take her out this weekend! The exterior has a few dings, expected for a 17 year old car. The interior is excellent, no rips or tears, still smells like leather..

I come from the turbo/awd world, my previous ride was a lightly modified 2011 wrx. I really wanted a NA/rwd combo for my next car, and everything lined up perfectly for me to grab a Vette (mainly convincing my wife), so I just went for it!

This is going to be a weekend car for me, with a few track days sprinkled in throughout the year.

Welcome to CF. Did they make T-tops in 1999, I would definitely like to see a picture as it sounds like someone may have modified your top.

Here is a close-up. Now that you mention it, I remember some smog and registration documents I got from the seller had the car listed as a year 2000 model, but the title definitely states 1999 as the year of manufacture.
