Steering column install
I bought this 70 corvette that someone starter to restore. The steering column was out of the car when I got it. After restoring the car I was trying to install the column back in the car. The distance between the bracket at the firewall and the bracket that bolts under the dash is 8.5" on the column and the distance from the firewall to the bolt hole under the dash is 12.5". The column will not line up with firewall and under dash bolt holes. Could anyone please help me with this.
