Intro
Hello,
JJ Showers here from the Heartland. I am a retired Army officer and served for over 30 years, 25 active and then as a contract instructor at Iowa State University and Drake University
I began my career in 1974 as an artillery crewman and was trained as a turret mechanic and ended my career as a Chemical Weapons Officer.
There is a lot more but boring for most people.
However I did go in as a Private rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant in 1982 started my officer career where I achieved the Rank of Lieutenant Colonel I turned down the promotion and retired as a Major in 1999
