Default New C4 Track Car Build

Hey everyone, my name is Alex and I bought my 85' Z51 4+3 when i was 16 and now i'm 18. I am going to school to become a mechanic so this is all new to me. I have a 94' K1500 as my daily but my C4 is the project car.
The goal for my car is to get it on a track and autocross for as cheap as possible. I have every part that came with the car with only 1 problem when I bought it. The reverse and overdrive on the trans are weird. When I put it in reverse the car starts moving back but then it slips like 2 feet back. Its BS. It might be the arm that is stretched but I'm not sure.

I have a local junkyard near my house so that's where I will get my parts, unless it's lines and fluids..obviously. Heres the list of things I would like to do to the car and will write where I'm at with that.

-Air Conditioning and Air Pump Delete (Air conditioning is all out, air pump was devained by me and the air tubes on the headers are cut off.)
-Weight Reduction (all the carpet and dash parts are out. the seats are out since I want to put in a bucket seat. The carpet was turning yellow so...ew. Then all the electronics in the cars are out too. Radio, speakers and what not though I'm keeping the digital dash cause why would I get rid of it.)
-Windshield (had a massive crack in it and got smashed because if you had a chance to smash a corvette windshield why wouldn't you. I want to put a plexiglass windshield in it)
-Suspension- (shot. rusted to hell. I want front coil overs and replace the rear shocks.)
-Brakes (lines are rusted and the rear line popped...nuff said)
-Tires- (fronts are dry rotted and rears are starting to dry rot.)
-Fuel injection (we all know that most cheap C4's don't have completely working TPI's. So the problem with mine was that every injector was leaking and the wiring was f***ed so it was running rough. I took the plenum, runners, and the wiring off but I cant take the manifold off cause I don't know how to take the rails off and no torx bits to take the manifold off.)

Other than that...the car is great.
Like I said, I will be getting my parts from a junkyard so I can prove that you can fix a vette for cheap. I would like as much support as possible and hope that it will help others in the process. Please fell free to ask any questions about the car and would very much appreciate the help. Also I am the 3rd member of the Eastern PA Corvette C4 Club
