New C5 Member
I would like to start off with saying the amount of corvette knowledge in this forum is incredible! It's amazing how much is here. I've recently picked up a new-to-me 2004 Commemorative Edition. Low miles for the age, just under 30,000. Over all the car is in great shape with what I would consider average wear for a 12 year old. This is the second C5 I've had, but it's been 4 years since owning my other one. So, it's going to be fun getting lots of seat time and remembering how the car handles and such.
I'm from the mid-west, but currently living in Stuttgart Germany. I'm hoping to find any forum members who would also be members of the BWICC (Baden-Wurttemberg International Corvette Club). I hear they have some great cruises, and given where we are in Germany (southern by the Black Forest), the cruises would be beautiful! I think some of them were lucky enough to be at the 24 Heures Du Mans in France last weekend. I was not able to make that, but it would have been awesome to go to given the year of my car and what it was named after.
I look forward to learning a lot from all of you guys and hope that I will be able to help out in some way also.
Cheers,
Jeff
