First Corvette!
I recently purchased my first Corvette (a 2010 GS Coupe), and have been reading the forum a lot - just lurking. I finally subscribed and figured I had better introduce myself.
I've owned a '94 Camaro Z28 (bored/stroked to 383 + 100 shot of N20), a '97 Camaro Z28 (12 bolt rear and Vortech Supercharger), a Pontiac G8 (stock), and finally my 2010 GS!
I've wanted a Corvette for as long as I could remember. Volkswagon is buying back our Golf (due to the TDI emissions scandale) so I started shopping... and found my 2010 GS locally and couldnt say no. Originally I wanted a C6Z but got scared off by the valvetrain issues so I started looking at GS's and am 100% glad I did!
Can anyone tell me what the scoop is on private messages? When does that "unlock" for me so I can send messages? Also I dont seem to be able to attach images

Apparently there is some obscure "lock" on new accounts (spam prevention) and normal usage will unlock me so I can send PMs. I hope it unlocks fast, I need to PM someone to buy something they are selling hah.
