Restoration virgin
My father and I purchased a 1968 427/390 convertible, numbers matching vette that we had planned to restore together, so I could learn the tricks of the trade he knew so well. He sadly passed in January from cancer and I will be doing this alone. My father was a classic car restortation guru, having restored mustangs, jaguars, T-birds amoung others. I will be so lost without his supervision and help. I have already scanned lots of threads on here to get helpful information as I go forward.
This will be a terrifying restoration to tackle as a virgin to the restoration world, but I will do it in Dad's honor. Everone has to start somewhere right???

Thank you! It will be a huge learning experience for me. Thankfully my son learned a few things from his grandpa and also works at an auto supply store. He will be helpful I'm sure. So glad I found this forum. It seems to have a lot of people that share a passion and willingness to share their information!!
