Good day all! I am fairly new to this forum. I have wanted a Corvette since I was 16, but have always said, "one day". Well, a month or so ago, after saying "one day" for 30 years, I decided it was time to make it happen. I stumbled on this forum while searching for Vettes; trying to decide which models I liked best that would also fit into my budget. Since I will be driving it daily, it came down to the C5 to also stay in my budget range. I quickly learned how valuable a resource this forum is. You guys have answered several questions I posted during my search and answered a lot more just utilizing the good old search feature. So...THANKS!!
So here is my first Vette that I was able to bring home yesterday!!

Congrats on getting your '99 and welcome to the forum. I like the back end treatment on the car.
This forum has lots of very useful information for you to take advantage of should the need arise or if you just want to learn a lot more about a Corvette.

The rear end paint was one of the items that drew me to it. The owner had seen that done one another Vette years ago liked it so much he did it to his.
Yes, this forum is very very useful. I learned that quickly during my search for a Vette; and I know I will learn even more here now that I finally own one.
That's a pretty "Vette" - silver as well...........my favorite color. Welcome to the forum and enjoy that "new" car !!

Thanks. I tend to love silver even though it does not appear to be the popular choice looking through the for sale portion of the forum; but heck, I like and its my car.
It will be making its debut at work tomorrow! ...and showing it off at lunch to a Mustang/Ford friend of mine that does not know what I have yet! It will be fun to see his face!
