Hello everybody
Im a new member who's been reading the forums for the past few months and want to thank y'all for very useful information I have found so far, Im sure there will be plenty more helpful info every time I'll need it, forums are priceless for that. Especially here, people seem very kind so far that i've seen.
Im from Quebec, Canada and I bought a bone stock 2004 black Z06 a few months back. I was actually looking to buy a C6Z when one of my friends gave me a ride in his 2016 Polaris RZR S 1000cc . I liked it so much that I had to go and get me one of those, 25 000$ later, I was looking into C5Z instead. I always loved more the looks of C5 than C6 anyway but I did like more the performance and potential of C6Z. After the new purchase, I couldnt choose anymore though. A few years back I owned a big turbo SRT4 with 470fwhp, mid 11 car @ 130-132mph, but even with big slicks the car couldnt hook (bs front traction). I owned the car for 5 years, had a bunch of fun with it almost every weekend on drag strips and then got tired of pouring so much money into it knowing if i wanted to keep it a street car, it will never be much faster on a drag strip and decided to sell it. Now, a few years later Im starting to miss real bad a car that has guts and doing some passes at 1/4mile. My Z06 is not fast at the moment, but it will be. I just started modding it a little bit, first the exterior then the performance. Just installed borla longtubes & catless xpipe. Slowly but surely, this winter ill order all the boltons, make a bunch of passes at the strip next year to get used to the car real well and then next winter after, some bigger upgrades. Car needs to eventually be in mid/low 10s, Id be happy with that. I love the car so far and will most certainly keep it for a few years. Sorry for the long intro, but Ill be on these forums for a long time and I think its the right way to do it
I wish there was more Quebecor brothers in here, the community doesnt seem very big here.

Great looking C5 Z06!
