Default 1965 High Beam Issue

Hi folks: I'm Tom from Tennessee -- just brand new to this forum. I've been a C2 owner for nearly 40 years and thought I'd been through most ... but my lighting problem stumps me. I've tested all four headlights and they're all good. I put in a new dimmer switch. I've put in a new light switch. Still, when I pull on the light switch, all I have are low beams. I'm wondering if it's something in the wiring harness or a connection at the firewall ... or just old like I am and doesn't work. It's a frustrating thing. I need some headlight help. Thanks so much.

Welcome to the CF! You should post that question in the C1 & C2 section of the forum for a quicker response.

Thank you. Forty-plus year experience in C2 ... first-day newbie to the forum. I'll learn to negotiate the turns and curves of the forum eventually. Thanks for the tip.

I appreciate the well wishes. Now, I just have to carve out some time to start eliminating things. Appreciate your input.

Thank you very much for the welcome. I have been "in the forum" for less than 24 hours and have two or three possible solutions to work on. I appreciate all the help. I appreciate your welcoming me.
