New to the vette world with what I think is a nice find

68 corvette convertible. L79 327 4 speed. Been stored in a heated garage since 1986.

Here's how it sat for 30 years:



Here is when I got it home and finally into the garage and washed the dust off

Nice Looking early 68.
Forward position drivers side mirror tells me its an early build.
What letter and number combo is on the driver side door frame trim tag?
I love the color too.

Really, really nice 68 convertible. No big deal to me if it has the small block! Congrats on this great find.

I remember sitting in a new Orange 1968 big block convertible in the back at a New Bremen, Ohio dealer when my Dad was looking to buy a new car. I was hoping he would buy the Vette for the family car but couldn't believe he went and bought an Impala Custom Coupe instead.....LOL!
