Hello my friends
My name is Jack and I just ordered my first Corvette. I am sixty one years old and a professional model builder. I have had a few cool cars in the past, MG's and a Miata. My daily driver is a stone stock 1926 Model T Touring car that I restored myself, just for around town. I have always been a bit conservative with cars, how much is the insurance, what sort of mileage, you know. Last year I had cancer and beat it, but that changes your outlook a bit. You can't take it with you! So I just ordered a C7. A 2LT, Longbeach Red convertible with black top, eight speed auto, two tone gray interior, red calipers, performance exhaust, and chrome wheels. I am getting exactly the car I have dreamed about. Somebody up there likes me!
I have been reading the forum for about a year but have been waiting to join until I ordered my car. I look forward to participating here and joining a Corvette club. Too much fun!
