First time vette owner!
Hey everyone,
I recently just purchased my first corvette a 2001 yellow coupe 6 speed. She has 96k miles, but would never know it by looking. I still cant believe i own it. My previous car was a 2004 gto that i did heads and cam on. I plan on doing the same to the vette but maybe a smaller cam given it is an older ls1 (not quite sure how many changes occured before the better 03/04 motors).
I plan on getting a c6 z06 shifter, lowering the car, headers, and intake. Then id like to source some z06 243s and a nice cam with under .600 lift.
But for now, i can honestly say the car is great. I believe j have the 1SC package with the selective ride control which makes spirited driving that much better.
Any things i should keep an eye on with my new vette?
I recently installed the hyperflash harness and new metal headlight gears to address those problems before they became issues.

Is it true that the 03/04 motors were different/improved over the 01/02s? I thought 2001 and up included the latest and greatest.
