First time (C3) Vette owner
Recently purchased a 71 4 Speed Convertible in Bridgehampton Blue with Black interior and have a few questions.

The ugly details.
Extended Big Block Hood installed in 1985, never painted. Rest of the car was repainted before that. The paint job is terrible. Wiper door and cowl panel removed, but I have them as well as the hinge and original hood, but no actuator or other hardware. The top was left down for the past 8 years or so, so it most likely wont stretch enough to latch at both ends. We will take a heat gun to it and see if we can get it to do so.
80's era ugly.
Original distributor swapped out for Mallory with no tach drive. High Energy 280H cam. Edelbrock manifold and Holley Double Pumper carb.
All of the lines are covered with braid. More 80's era ugly IMO.
