Howdy folks - I'm Dave (long time reader, first time poster); just recently bought a 2007 3LT Corvette.
Last owner was an idiot and did things like paint the trim with gold fingernail polish and replace the rotors with oversized slotted units.
I've also got a clunk in the rear to deal with (pretty sure I've isolated it to the rear upper control arm bushings).
I love my car to death and recently discovered (via a build sheet app) that it has the Z51 package; but it completely escapes me as to why on earth auxilliary ports weren't common until 2008.
Done:
Replaced front shock/struts with Bilstein B8's
To Do:
Replace rear shock/struts with Bilstein B8's
Replace Swaybar links with Moogs
Replace Tie Rod ends with Moogs
Replace differential fluid with lucasoil
A new radio head unit with Aux port (plug and play)
Z51 Stock rotors
Rear upper control arm bushings (surprisingly very difficult to find)
Long down the road:
OBX exhaust
Headers
Edelbrock e-force charger kit
I intend on tracking this a couple times a year at Chuckwalla.
