I'm new to this forum and not yet a Corvette owner. I'm nearly 50 (denial) and have had a love affair with vette's since I was a kid in Detroit (sorta in our blood when born in the Mitt). My boss let me drive his 68 to my prom in 1985 (certainly was a dream then). I haven't even sat in one since then, afraid what it would do to me!
I was a chevy guy up until the last 15 years or so, been a Mopar fan since. Had a 13 Charger R/T and a bunch of Hemi Rams (drive a 16 Ram as my daily) so my thirst has been building for a true American muscle sports car. Have a 02 Wrangler as our "3rd" fun car and now I'm ready to jump into my bucket car. Still deciding on which model but feeling like a 02-04 Z06 is where I'll land and also deciding on whether to keep the jeep or not as well. The price points of the C5 is where I'm hovering. Time will tell!

Welcome. If you are looking for a C5, spend some time reading the stickies at the top of the C5 General and C5 Tech sections. They will give you a lot of valuable info on the C5 and what to look for when you go on your search.

I did this very thing yesterday morning. Well, partly, spent about an hour and a half and still have more to go. Great info that will certainly help me make a decision.
