Hello forum
New to the forum but a corvette owner since 1991. After a 2 year search I bought a clean, 2 owner, dark blue with saddle interior, 4 speed manual 1981 coupe with 31,000 miles. 15 years ago I started a rear end project to replace the leaf spring with a fiberglass spring for a better ride. That progressed into the removal of the entire rear end from the pumpkin(which i had rebuilt with 3.54:1 gears) to the fuel tank. I just resumed work on the car this past summer, replacing the 8 body mounts.(rubber) Looking forward to getting the car back together and picking the brains of the many experts on this forum along the way.
