Just thought I would say hello from MN. Tough time of year to be a Vette owner. Only good thing is visitation is simple with her in the heated garage. 2016 Z51 in Laguna Blue. Wanted one since I was 16 so i guess a 36 year wait wasn't that bad.

Congratulations on the C7... nice looking vette!

I use to live in Newport until about 1968. 331 7th St. First home built in Newport back in the 1840s. It was my step dads and he passed about 6 years ago. Graduated from Park High in 71 and still have friends

I stay in contact with. We use to dine at the North Pole restaurant which is still there with the infamous "Trappers Den".

The place sure has changed a lot since I left for points west back in 1975.

I to am a new member from MN. I also have my new to me C6 sitting in the heated garage waiting on spring to sprung. Seems we have alot in common. I to am about the same age my friend and have patiently wanted a Corvette for 36yrs or so. I remember when the C6's came out in 05' and how I drooled over it, i was deployed to the sand box at the time. I ran across one this last fall, low miles (16.4k mls) C6 Base 6spd. 78yr old traded it for a Laguna Blue 2014 C7. Lol...looks just like your 2016. Anyway, I feel your pain wanting to get my dream car out and take it for a spin, wth...make's us appreciate them that much more.

Thanks everyone. It definitely makes for a longer winter when you have to look at the baby in the garage but I will be trying to make the best of the summer again. Even though it is the garage right now it will not be a garage queen.

Pdpappys - Been there, nice place.

North pole - Had breakfast there just yesterday. Still has great local diner food. And always busy.
