I just picked up my first 'Vette; it's a 98 C5 Base Targa. I actually found it on this forum for 8k and had it shipped here from Texas. It has 114k and had a few leaks that were Jerry-rigged shut, but I got all of those fixed up and started upgrading some of the brakes and suspension. I was hooked from the first test drive and I can already see that this love is going to be more expensive than the love of my wife and child. I've already used this site a couple of times to save myself troubleshooting time and there is an abundance of knowledge and experience on here. My next project is going to be a DIY DD conversion. Wish me luck!
